When expanding an existing business or developing a new business in the unincorporated area of Calcasieu Parish, check with our office to see if you qualify for enterprise zone benefits. If you qualify, your business can receive a rebate based upon either a percentage of the sales tax paid during construction or the number of new jobs created. Your application for the local enterprise zone benefits must be approved by the Police Jury before you start construction. Please submit the required documents at least 60 days in advance.
