Calcasieu grandparents raising their grandchildren, or actively involved in assisting in the care of their grandchildren are invited to attend.
The first Grandparents Raising Grandchildren support group meeting will be focused on giving grandparents an opportunity to discuss issues they’re experiencing, share ideas and spend some time with other grandparents in similar situations.
This free event includes light refreshments and is sponsored by the Calcasieu Parish Police Jury Human Services Department. For more information interested participants may contact Adele Mart or Lisa Addison at 337-721-4020.
