The role of Facilities Management is to manage the many facilities of the Police Jury. To accomplish this task, the department provides services which include HVAC/environmental services, routine and preventive maintenance programs, and renovations and modification of facilities and Parish grounds with use of in-house and contract personnel.

Another important task for the department is the management of the Capital Improvement Project for the Parish facilities. In doing this, the Project Manager must coordinate with architects and contractors throughout the entire scope of the project.
