The Workforce Investment Board in Calcasieu Parish is hosting a mini-symposium that will feature a keynote speaker for participating employers in recognition of National Disability Employment Awareness Month. Employers will also receive a complimentary breakfast.

The Diversity Works job fair will follow immediately after the symposium and is designed to connect individuals with disabilities with local employers. In addition, a training session will be offered for job seekers to learn how to manage and protect their Social Security benefits while enriching their lives through employment.

One hour workshops will provide networking opportunities for participants and feature a keynote speaker to address employment issues.
