The Month of June is National Adopt A Cat Month. In recognition, Calcasieu Parish Animal Services and Adoption Center will offer spay/neuter vouchers for cats for $10.00. During the month of June all residents of Calcasieu or Cameron Parish qualify for the vouchers. Residents must come to the shelter to pick up their voucher and appointment for the surgery. There are no financial restrictions for the month of June for this program. Please help us reduce the number of unwanted litters by having your pet spayed or neutered. Each year there are still thousands of kittens born in our community, and there just aren't enough homes for them all. For more information on this program please cal the shelter at 721-3730.
