The Zone

Lake Charles, Louisiana 70602 - Introduction: “The Zone” is designed to offer a safe, fun environment for the community’s youth to experience during the Mardi Gras revelry.
Parents looking for a family-friendly option this Mardi Gras are invited to bring their kids to “The Zone” presented by the Calcasieu Parish Police Jury. This 9th annual event will provide an alcohol and tobacco free Mardi Gras option, February 28th from Noon to 4:00pm, in the empty parking lot between the Charleston Building and the Parish Courthouse on Ryan Street.
In “The Zone” the good times roll with a live D.J., laser tag, bounce houses, train rides, face painting and a game truck! Kids can snack on pizza, popcorn, sno cones, Coca Cola and cotton candy during all the fun. “The Zone” is designed to offer a safe, fun environment for the community’s youth to experience during the Mardi Gras revelry.
