All services going through the Calcasieu Division of Planning and Development will be processed by hand on Thursday, March 30, and Friday, March 31, 2017. Services will be limited during those days to install new software.
The Division of Planning and Development handles a variety of parish services including; permits, planning, occupational licenses and codes involving storm water, sewer and property standards. The new Community Development Software will allow the varied services of Planning and Development to integrate with one another. This will increase the efficiency of services and enhance communication and relationships with parish citizens, developers and contractors.
Full services are expected to be restored on Monday, April 3, 2017. The new system will go live on May 8th.
