Area senior citizens are invited to the upcoming “Lunch and Learn” workshop, which will be held from 10 a.m.-noon Tuesday, Feb. 19, at the Allen P. August Annex Building, 2000 Moeling St., Lake Charles.
Jody Barrilleaux of Living Information for Today, or LIFT, is the featured guest speaker. She will discuss the LIFT Program and how it is helping area widows and widowers - and others who have lost loved ones - join together and cope with their grief and depression.
The event is hosted by Calcasieu Parish TRIAD and the Calcasieu Parish Police Jury’s Human Services Department. Lunch will be provided.
