The American Job Center – Region V will host a recruitment event to share information on all its available programs and services from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, June 11, at the Allen P. August Annex Building, 2000 Moeling St., in Lake Charles.

Residents are invited to attend to find out about all of the center’s available programs and services. It provides a comprehensive range of useful career and employment services, job training and up-to-date information – with the goal of helping program participants find jobs and careers.

The American Job Center also invites local agencies and organizations to participate with an informational table at the event. There is no cost for employers to participate.

The American Job Center serves the six-parish area and is sponsored by the Calcasieu Parish Police Jury, in conjunction with the Workforce Development Board and the Louisiana Workforce Commission.
