The American Job Center will host a Job Readiness Workshop at 10 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 16, at the Carnegie Library, 411 Pujo St. in Lake Charles.

Participants will learn the dos and don’ts of looking for a job, programs and services to assist in job searches, interview tips and information on available job opportunities.

Workshop facilitator will be Gwendolyn Guidry, Business Services Specialist. Guest speaker will be Cathy Brady of Landlocked Aviation.
