There will be a Job Readiness Workshop at 9 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 2, at the American Job Center, 2424 Third St. in Lake Charles. Participants will learn the dos and don’ts of looking for a job, programs and services to assist in job searches, interview tips and information on available job opportunities.  Facilitator will be Gwen Guillory, Business Services Specialist. Speaker will be Cassi Vincent, Job Readiness and Computer Skills Specialist.
