“The Zone,” a family-friendly, alcohol-and-tobacco-free area targeted for families with children and teens, is back again for Mardi Gras.
Now in its 14th year, The Zone will be open from 11:30 a.m.- 3:30 p.m., Tuesday, February 21st, located right on the parade route - in the parking lot between the Charleston Building and the Parish Courthouse on Ryan Street.
The event is free to the public.
The area will have lots of kid-friendly games including a live DJ, photo booth, Bayou Games Truck, laser tag, a bounce house, obstacle course, train ride, and activities in the Activity tent. There will be plenty of hot dogs, popcorn, soft drinks, and snow cones for kids to enjoy.
