The Calcasieu Parish Police Jury’s Human Services Department invites area residents to its first-ever Community Impact meeting, which will be held 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 23 at the Lake Charles Civic Center, 900 Lakeshore Drive, Lake Charles.
At this event, residents will have the opportunity to learn more about community services provided through the Community Services Block Grant (CSBG), the Emergency Rental Assistance (ERA) Program, the Low-Income Housing Energy Assistance Program (LiHEAP), and the Calcasieu Public Transit Program.
The mission of the Human Services Department is to implement and deliver an array of services through its various offices, initiatives and collaborative networks in accordance with community needs.
