All Calcasieu Parish Police Jury departments will be closed on Thursday, July 4 and Friday, July 5 to observe the Fourth of July holiday. Offices will reopen on Monday, July 8.

The Residential Solid Waste Convenience Centers - at 2915 Post Oak Road in Sulphur and 5500-B Swift Plant Road in Lake Charles - will also be closed July 4. They will reopen on Friday, July 5. Regular business hours for the sites are 7:30 a.m. – 6:30 p.m. Thursday through Monday. The centers are both closed Tuesday and Wednesday of each week.
