Judd Bares is serving his third term representing District 12. He served as Police Jury President in 2018.

Married to the former Tressie Russell, he is the father of two children - Charlee and Jett.

Mr. Bares attended McNeese State University, where he earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communications.

An award-winning television producer for 20-plus years, he now works in sales and marketing for Mike Willis Ford.  

He enjoys spending time with his family and friends, playing music and volunteering his time for worthwhile causes.
