PERSONAL: Tom Hoefer Communications and Media director

Born in Mt. Clemens, MI, and raised in Salem, IL, Tom moved to the Lake Charles area in 1988. He has lived in Sulphur, LA, since 1994 and is married to Kaye Billeaudeaux, a retired sales representative from KPLC-TV.

College: Associate of Arts degree from Kaskaskia Community College, Centralia, IL, 1983
Bachelor of Arts Degree in Journalism from Eastern Illinois University, Charleston, IL, 1985

ACTIVITIES & HONORS:

Radio play-by-play voice for the McNeese State University football team.

Dale Carnegie Course graduate and graduate assistant.

Winner of multiple Southwest Louisiana ADDY Awards for advertising excellence.

CALCASIEU PARISH POLICE JURY:

Tom has been employed with the Police Jury since 2005.
