The Truancy Assessment and Service Center (TASC) Program provides assessments and services to identified truants and to students who are at risk for truant tendencies. This program focuses primarily on early intervention and proactive approaches to combating truancy problems among students in grades K through 5.

The TASC Program is a joint effort of the Office of Juvenile Justice Services and the Calcasieu Parish School Board.
