Permitting Information and Documents
Managing storm water runoff has become increasingly important in our community as we try to keep our valuable waterways and water resources free and clean of contaminants. During the course of construction, uncontrolled sediments and other contaminants run freely into drainage laterals, open ditches, and storm drains, all of which eventually end up in our rivers, lakes and streams.
It is our responsibility to manage this runoff by using Best Management Practices. Permits are required when clearing, grading or filling in properties for construction or access, where applicable. State regulations may apply depending on the size of disturbance. An erosion and sediment control plan will be required for permit submittal.
